It has been two years since the twins were separated. Maryam was in Babylon where she spent her days resolving conflicts and making judgements.
Day after day a long row of citizens of Babylon were lining up to bring their case to be resolved or get justice.
Her advisor helped her in making decisions and choices, and slowly Maryam's wisdom grew as well as her insight in people's arguments and excuses.
It was never early for her to go to sleep and she did not have many time off.
Elisheba's training on the other hand was much more physical. She was taught all the different sorts of man-to-man combat.
Learned the different techniques of fighting with weapons.
And went on maneuvers with the army. Long hard physical days.
But those days did not always lead to early sleep. Sometimes it was time to party, and she made a lot of friends that way.
