At first light that morning, with the dew still tangibly in the air, Neo's army was ready for inspection. Neo had made sure they all had new uniforms and weapons, and pride was palpable.
As Neo rode out of the fortress, there was appreciative applause for the man riding past on his white horse. The army consisted of 50,000 infantry and 5,000 mounted men. The 50 triceratops were to be picked up along the way.
A little further away, separated from the rest of the army, stood Neo's marshals. "What the hell are you doing here? It's not because you're higher-ranking that I want to keep you separate. There, among the soldiers, that's where you belong. On horseback, gentlemen."
And Neo bolted back to the soldiers. The marshals remained behind, somewhat dejected, and finally ordered their valets to fetch their horses.
Meanwhile, Neo gave his soldiers one last motivational speech before they left. "You are the pride of this new country. And now we also have a golden opportunity to drive out our former masters once and for all!"
Whereupon Neo rode back to the marshals, drew his sword, and shouted aloud, "Forward, gentlemen, there is honor and glory to be earned where we are going!"
