A few days later in one of the many hanging gardens of Babylon.
Rokhshan was taking a walk, enjoying the gardens, overthinking her options and making plans.
She almost did not notice that someone was sitting in one of her favorite spots to take a pause. It was ibn Arabi.
"Good morning princess. My apologies for bothering you here, but I bring good news. My men have managed to capture Hippolyte while he was on the run. They have been told to bring him over here. He should be here tomorrow."
Rokhshan felt relieved when ib Arabi left her behind in the park. Relieved for the capture of the killer of her husband. But also worried for herself about what the confrontation with this man would do with her feelings and her need for revenge.
The next day ibn Arabi confirmed to Rokhshan that Hippolyte was in one of the cells of the palace's dungeon. She was free to visit him at will, but he advised her to do it low-profile. Nobody needed to know what she was going to do with this insect of a man.
