Neo and Rokhshan spent their honeymoon mainly on horseback. They usually left early in the morning to cover as much distance as possible and meet as many tribes as possible, following their pseudo-royal status.
They usually returned late at night for a simple meal and those things a gentleman never talks about.
Everywhere there was a rush to meet and touch Neo the Great, as people now called him.
Eventually, the spontaneous nature of the visits faded, and the whole thing became obligatory. The crowds also grew larger and larger, and at some point, Rokhshan had had enough. It was the last time she accompanied Neo.
Neo, however, felt obliged to continue responding to requests to visit local tribes. Now, however, he was traveling alone and had plenty of time to think. And how long can a man be told he's the greatest before he starts to believe it himself?
Neo's outfits also began to change. While they initially consisted of simple robes, they increasingly began to exude a regal air.
And then one day Neo took a decision. He had enough of staying put and decided it was time to leave. He was hungry again for conquest and victories.
Meanwhile, far away, news of Neo's wedding had broken. And that news had been too much for a broken heart. Josy's remains were found a few days after the news broke in her dilapidated apartment. There was no suicide note, but inconsolable grief was written all over her face.
