The cullahan walked for days and nights through the large forest.

They never slept, knowing that they were no longer welcome in the woods.

Sometimes they had to run hard from dark creatures that seemed to be following them...or was it just their imagination?

Conditions were harsh because the further they got, the harder to follow the trails.

And with fatigue also came the cold and bad temper.

Some of the group fell behind, slowing down the tempo of the rest.

And then there were the marshlands.

With the marshlands also came the oppressive heat and more fatigue and fevers.

With the fevers came the feverish illusions, of witches conjuring them.

Dreams of the old queen Maeve, showing them the beauty of the homeland they left,...

...and the challenges they still had to endure...

...and in the end the hardship of their new homeland.
