Tári welcomed her sisters to the first trial in 500 years.

She explained that the indictment was the most severe crime someone from the woods could commit, given the laws of the ancestors.

In walked the accused, Eryndor, Protector of the Woods. All present stood up as he was a highly regarded member of the community. At the end of the row stood Faelwyn, his enchanting companion.

Eryndor had chosen Thalior as his defender. Known for his valor Thalior defended his friend with passion.

But the prosecutor came with evidence that was hard to deny: Eryndor was accused of bonding with a male dragon. Apart from killing a fellow elf for a male elf to ride a male dragon, let alone bond one, was the biggest crime.

When Aelarion entered the tent, everybody was silenced: "tári, the dragon Melchior stands outside."

Outside stood a fierce and pride dragon, reluctantly submitting himself to elvish powers.

The moment tári stepped outside the tent, the environment changed. Black clouds gathered and a black darkness surrounded everyone. Tári faced the dragon and asked him straight away if he and Eryndor had bonded.

The dragon tried to trick her, and started flattering her and her mighty reign. "Stop it", Tári reacted. "I summon you to tell me truth!".

Then Melchior showed his true nature and shouted: "No-one can tell me who I bond with, you small, meaningless creature." to which Tári reacted: "I know enough. Get thee gone."

After which Tári stepped out of the illusion.

The dragon remained behind feeling completely powerless and defeated.
