After the booing and throwing with rotten fruit from the balconies Maximilian van Lichtenstein confronts the seniors of the Guild with their passive reaction. He condemns them vehemently, but they take his words with bowed heads.

"If tomorrow members of this Guild will be acquitted, the people will turn against us. And if we are divided, them so-called gods who think they can tell us what to do will turn against us. You all saw what the sects tried to do to us, encouraged by their gods. Now is the time to act." Loud cheering follows Maximilian's words.

The next day Maximilian stands ready with his newly formed militia. Ready to do justice the way he thinks it should be done.

In court - to no-one's surprise - the members of the Guild, as respectable members of the community, are acquitted.

When the acquitted members try to leave court they are awaited by dozens of people scolding them.

Maximilian signals his militia to take action.

And in no time they make a citizen's arrest.

Maximilian and his militia are the new heroes and a cheering crowd forms a guard of honor.

The arrested members of the Guild end up in jail and get their first briefing as prisoners.
