When the time had arrived to give birth, it was a big surprise that Rokhshan not only brought one girl to the world...
...but two. Rokhshan, Empress Jade I, gave birth to twin girls.
So she gathered the nobility and military again, this time to pledge loyalty to her two daughters: Elisheba, the crown princess and princess Maryam.
Two twin girls were appointed as the governesses of the girls, and the four of them were meant to be inseparable for the rest of their lives.
And so the two little girls grew up to toddlers, trying their first steps, which turned into runs.
They learned not to fear water but also be aware of its dangers.
And to be kind to all creatures like they did with the newborn kittens of the cats living in the gardens.
At the age of ten the girls got their first ponies. And they had their first discussion....over who should get which pony. Elisheba got the white one....as she knew it was the preferred color of horse of her father. For the sake of peace Maryam gave in.
As of then both girls had regular discussions, even in classroom where they were reprimanded by their governesses for it.
