A messenger rode down from the citadel saying that only Queen Isolde and her personal body guard were allowed into the stronghold.

Despite objections from the senior knights, Queen Isolde agreed upon it and went into the citadel, which was richly decorated on the inside.

When she arrived at the throne hall, there was a huge double wooden door. She told her guard to stay behind. "I'll show this woman that I am not afraid of her."

When Queen Isolde pushed open the doors, she was surprised by the view.

"Welcome my dear Queen. I am honored that you have accepted my invitation to talk."

"I am Queen Jade, from the kingdom of Opal."

"Please join me for a more private conversation. It is said the walls have ears."

So both queens moved to a side-room where Isolde opened the debates: "What have you done with my people. Elves do not bend their knees for anyone and I want you to deliver them to me before we will even start to talk." "Don't worry about them. I'll set them free. But let me first show you something."

"Do you know what this is? It's a Griffin, legendary creatures from the East. Griffins are also powerful symbols of royalty and strength, but what might really interest you is that Griffins are masters of the earthly and the kings of the skies. And I want you to have it."
