"I believe you have something that belongs to me, ginger head."
In spite of Tornassuk's instructions MacDonald stepped forward. Tornassuk growled and showed his teeth: "Get back, you idiot!"
"If you step any further the bear will attack since you will be a direct threat to his rider. And I will not be able to defend you since you will have started the quarrel. Now step back and do as I told you."
"Aaahhh, isn't it always the same with those humans....always so impulsive and ready for action."
"That is why I prefer the company of bears. Strong, but careful. Oh, and loyal, too."
"Now, I guess you know who I am. Katla must have most certainly warned you about me. But she also lied to you. Because that buxur spell is mine, and she stole it from me."
"But I'm not gonna start a fight over it right here. Your bear is in top shape, while mine, well you can see for yourself. And as for the two of us....I guess it isn't a fair match either, is it."
"But you know what....the nights can be very long here. And the both of you will have to sleep, one way or another. And I will be there with my friend here....and we will get the spell, and who knows, maybe even your life."
And so Barði gave his bear the instruction to leave. "Oh, and one last piece of advice....it is not true that a forewarned man is worth two....not from my experience it isn't....hihihi."
