Before they continued their way Tornassuk said he was staying behind because he was in need of a power nap: "It all becomes a bit too....intellectual for me. Too much gibberish. But you fellows go ahead....go on."
When MacDonald and Hodēgós, or Hodgy as Mac started calling him, entered the temple there was no-one to be seen. Until they found a little room in the back, where they met someone busy at whatever it was he was doing.
"Hello you....my name is Hippocrates. How can I help you. But first let's get rid of this stick. No need for arms here....is there? You can give it to my assistant, Grok. He is a good fellow. Very helpful....a bit naughty sometimes. He will return your stick when we are finished."
"You see. much better this way. I heard about your quest. But I have found no cure in all the books I have. And I have never heard about a medicine either. I fear it is all location based....in this place for instance, we have never heard about this disease."
At that moment MacDonald had had it.: "C'mon, Hodgy, we're out of here. They cannot help us....they are just stringing us along."
And suddenly Grok appeared: "Master, Master, I have found a book with some references to the disease....they talk about the flowers of purity....maybe nothing, maybe it is something."
Hippocrates took the book and opened it on the page with an edelweiss flower. "Thank you, Grok, but I am afraid this is just an old legend. The flower just stands for purity and as such is considered a cure for many diseases. Just some old superstition."
So MacDonald went back to wake up Tornassuk and both started their way back.
And suddenly there he was again...Barði: "I told you no-one has a cure....just me. And you know what to do to get it." MacDonald could barely control himself: "Get lost, you old piece of useless wizard....and what's with the kilt....you should know that not just anyone can wear it...." "Just a joke....or to get under your skin." Barði laughed and disappeared in thin air. Again. "This guy is getting on my nerves. We must find a way to get rid of him."
