Max arrives at the railway station. He still feels very awkward about the whole mission. Nevertheless he looks where Platform 2 is and makes his way there.
Then Max hears a voice in his head that feels familiar: "Max don't do it."
When Max arrives at Platform 2 it is 11.19 hours. He looks around but his target does not seem to have arrived yet.
But the voice in is head does not disappear. He vaguely recognizes it, but cannot put a face to it when once more he hears loud and clear: "Max, please, don't do it."
Max notices a guy who corresponds to the description he was given. His body automatically starts moving in the direction of the train.
When Max' target boards the train it is 11.23 hours. His muscle memory moves his body forward to the train.
A soft voice pops up in his head again. And a gentle face he vaguely seems to recognize. Although he does not know anyone with such a face. Soft but almost compelling he hears "Max, I beg you, don't do it."
The train is leaving the station. It is 11.25 hours.
But the backpack is standing at the platform...defused. So nothing happens. Max knows he is in serious trouble now.
Another voice, another face: "Max, Remember. Try to remember us."
After Max has ditched the backpack he is strolling through the backstreets of the railway station. His mind is struggling with the voices and faces that keep echoing in his head and he does not notice the old man with a hat that is following him.
Then, out of the blue, a girl with pink dyed hair, stops the man and tells him that she has an urgent message from McNulty. She takes him by his shoulder and leads him into a small dead end street.
After that, no more was heard from the man with the trench coat and hat. A girl with pink dyed hair? Nobody noticed.
