Dragons have always been a part of the fauna of Qenya. Originally as beautiful and colorful small creatures living among and from the flowers in the woods.
They soon discovered the potential of eating small flying insects and developed wings.
When their new source of proteins made them bigger they discovered the company of the faeries which both parties enjoyed, particularly the sprites.
While accidentally observing the sprites having fun in the woods, the dragons were discovered by faery royalty.
The power of the dragons and their flying skills made them an obsessive gadget for the young princesses.
They soon learned that the dragons would accept them on their backs.
And the faeries learned how to ride and control the dragons.
The dragons now became symbols of the different royal houses.
But where in the beginning dragons were still elegant and magical beings....
...they soon became symbols of status, and their appearance, but most of all....
...their power become the most wanted quality amongst the faeries.
