Back at THE WORKS: "We have got a problem. Diamondback has not appeared this morning at the client he is working for. They have called him several times but he does not answer his phone. I sent someone to check if he is at home, but there is nobody there."
At the same time another conversation is taking place: "Was it done? OK. Now, before we start phase two, make sure that our friends at the station remove all remaining evidence, no matter how small. Once that is out of the way, let the kid start phase 2."
No sooner said than done, the friends from the station arrive at the crime scene and make a final sweep.
"Job done. Let's go and have a break."
As soon as the kid gets a GO from the bearded man, he sets up a program to infiltrate the servers of THE WORKS. It will take hours before the program will succeed in what it was intended to do. But nobody can change it anymore or intervene in whatever way.
