Tári welcomes her sisters to the first trial in 500 years.

She explains that the indictment is the most severe crime someone from the woods can commit, given the laws of the ancestors.

In walks the accused, Eryndor, Protector of the Woods. All present stand up as he is a highly regarded member of the community. At the end of the row stands Faelwyn, his enchanting companion.

Eryndor has chosen Thalior as his defender. Known for his valor Thalior defends his friend with passion and full of power.

But the prosecutor comes with evidence that is hard to deny: Eryndor is accused of bonding with a male dragon. Apart from killing a fellow elf for a male elf to ride a male dragon, let alone bond one, is the biggest crime.

When Aelarion enters the tent, everybody is silenced: "tári, the dragon Alduin stands outside."

Outside stands a fierce and pride dragon, reluctantly submitting himself to elvish powers.

The moment tári steps outside the tent, the environment changes. Black clouds gather and a black darkness surrounds everyone. Tári faces the dragon and asks him if he and Eryndor have bonded.

The dragon tries to trick her, and starts flattering her and her mighty reign. "Stop it", Tári reacts. "I summon you to tell me truth!".

Then Alduin shows his true nature and shouts: "No-one can tell me who I bond with, you small, meaningless creature." to which Tári reacts: "I know enough. Get thee gone."

After which Tári steps out of the illusion.

The dragon remains behind feeling completely powerless and defeated.
