When Ariel arrives back at the citadel her four sisters urgently want to see her.
During Ariel's absence, three men on horses appeared. They were dressed in Roman togas.
It soon became apparent that it were Gorgons. One of them came to discuss an alliance. Given their history together however the sisters told him there is no interest from their side in such a thing.
Once he felt that the sisters did not want to comply, he went raving mad and left, swearing that they would regret their foolish attitude.
It was told by passers-by that nobody of the company spoke a word during their way back.
