Ariel knows enough. There has been a millennia long feud between Gorgons and Angels, and their presence does not bode well. So she leaves again to see if she can get more info on their whereabouts.

When the Gorgons return to the dungeon of their castle under construction they immediately start plotting how to deal with the Angels and how they will approach the humanoids.

After the council Agrippa decides to provoke the Angels so that he can see how far the Angels are prepared to go and how strong they are. In the woods he lures a unicorn and stabs it to death. He knows the screams of the unicorn and the smell of its blood will definitely attract the attention of a dragon and its Angel.

The effect Agrippa was looking for works. Not long after he committed his dreadful act, Ariel's dragon smells something odd in the woods and Ariel decides to land. They find the stabbed unicorn in a pool of its own blood and are shocked.

Upon arrival in the citadel Ariel walks through its corridors with the bloody head of the unicorn in her hand. She is in rage and her sisters can barely keep up with her.

Ariel throws the severed head of the unicorn on the table of the throne room. A scream like from an animal is leaving her throat and can be heard throughout the citadel. In a fashion that is completely unlike Ariel she cries out: "Horror has caught up with us again!"

Ariel and her sisters discuss what they can do in reply to the killing of the unicorn. Some want to act immediately and launch a full attack with the dragons. In the end they agree that Ariel will take the dragons to Heaven's Gate and have the dragons circle around the castle of the Gorgons to see how they will respond.

It is the first time for Ariel to be confronted with the entrance of the Gorgon's Heaven. When she sees the bones and skulls the gate is constructed of, she feels the shivers running down her spine.

The dragons start circling around the castle, each time a little bit closer, but there is no reaction whatsoever. In the end there is nothing left to do but return to the Angel's citadel
