When Gaius and Ariel leave the dungeon he takes her outside in the open air across the courtyard. When they reach a massive door he tells her to wait and disappears.

In the courtroom Agrippa is sitting on a throne in a red roman toga. Gaius kneels before him and tells him that Ariel has requested an audition to discuss the surrender of the Angels. Agrippa smiles and tells Gaius to send her in .

"He wants to see you." "But you'll have to wait a bit until he has re-dressed the throne and himself...to look more royal" Ariel chuckles: "And I have to face him in these rags?." "There will be a dress waiting for you...he will let you change before he arrives."

In the throne room Ariel kneels before Agrippa and explains the plan. "Your plan to create discord among the humanoids has failed now that they discovered what you did to some of my sisters." "We can help you to keep the humanoids under control however." "Free us, and make us your personal guard." "We will punish them when they do not obey, we will spy on them, so that you will have good and up-to-date intel, and we can be your personal body guard to protect you from the humanoids, or other threats." "WHAT OTHER THREATS?" "Your brothers, your nephews,...I don't know." "HMMM"

Shortly after Ariel's audition Gaius enters the dungeon again and shouts out "You are free. All of you!" When he notices that the news does not sink in, he leaves the Angels in disbelief.

"Could it be true?" "Where is Ariel?" "If it were true, she would be here, no?" "I don't believe it, it is just another trick from the Gorgons." "They want to demoralize us further." "Wait, what is it that I hear over there?"

"Is it Ariel?" "Ariel is that you?" "Is it true?"

"It is Ariel!!!" "Ariel....." "Yes, it is true, my sisters." "We are free to go!"

Soon small groups are leaving the wretched dungeon. Laughter is heard again amongst the Angels.

They embrace each other, and tears are flowing. Even these ethereal creatures do long for freedom above everything else.

And then Ariel walks out while her sisters congratulate her. Ariel enjoys the moment with them. Weak and afraid of the moment she has to tell them what the price of their freedom is.

Until that moment however: Carpe Diem. It does not take long when the Angels are out in the open again, for the first one to take off in the air and fly amongst the eagles. "Free at last, free at last."
