While on their way to the Gorgons Zoroaster asks Mac to tell him all the details of what he has seen in the forest: "It is essential that I know all the details, son."

"I also think it is best that I do the talking. After all, in the eyes of the Gorgons you are nothing more but a heretic."

When they arrive at Heaven's Gate, Mac leaves behind his horse, and decides to play the role of Zoroaster's servant.

Nothing could have prepared them for what is displayed in front of their eyes...a majestic eastern looking palace build of skulls and bones of different creatures, of which several are walking around dazed and confused in the desert surrounding the palace.

Nobody seems to pay any attention however when Zoroaster and Mac make their way to the palace.

At the palace's entrance both are surrounded by a bunch of devilish creatures pushing Mac and Zoroaster around until they have isolated the old man.

An oddly looking creature approaches him and put his chains in Zoroaster's hands. "Take them...", he says, "Free me."

When Zoroaster takes the chains and touches the creature's face with pity and compassion the creatures changes into an old man suffering from maltreatment and disease.

Ashamed of what he looks like the pity old man runs away and the devils around Zoroaster start dancing and laughing.
